“Extra” exclusively confirms that host Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Lopez are expecting their second baby together.

Mario tells “Extra” he and Courtney are ecstatic. Mario, “I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives.” The couple’s first daughter, Gia Francesca Lopez, was born on September 11, 2010.

“Extra” broke the news on the air today with a surprise baby shower complete with balloons, guests and gifts. Little Gia appeared holding a sign that read ‘I’m gonna be a big sister.’ The baby is due late summer.

Mario and Courtney were married December 1, 2012 in Punta Mita, Mexico. The two met when they shared the Broadway stage in the 2006 revival of “A Chorus Line” and began dating in 2008.
