Forbes.com has released a list of The Top-Earning “American Idols” . . . and KELLY CLARKSON was #1.  There’s just one problem:  The list is really out of date.

–The numbers were taken from income estimates from May of 2011 to May of last year, which means nothing from the past nine months has been factored in . . . and that includes last season’s winner PHILLIP PHILLIPS.

–Regardless, here’s the list of The Top-Earning “American Idols” (in the Year Between May of 2011 and May of 2012):

1.)  Kelly Clarkson, $8 million

2.)  Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry, who are tied with $5 million

4.)  Scotty McCreery, $4 million

5.)  Jennifer Hudson, $3 million

6.)  Jordin Sparks, $2 million

7.)  Adam Lambert, $1.5 million

8.)  Katharine McPhee and Kellie Pickler, who are tied with $1.1 million

10.)  David Archuleta and David Cook, who are tied with $1 million
