CHRIS BROWN is still on probation for beating up RIHANNA more than three years ago.  Yesterday he had a progress hearing in Los Angeles . . . and Rihanna Tweeted her support.

–She said, quote, “Praying for you, baby.  My best wishes are with you today!  Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!!  #1Love.”

–As for the hearing itself, there’s still a question as to how much of his community service Chris has completed.  See, he chose to do most of it in his home state of Virginia.

–The court wants him to verify all his hours, but he claims he did a lot of it by himself and, quote, “didn’t sign in.”  So they’re still looking into that.

–Chris got a break on a FAILED DRUG TEST, though.  He tested positive for weed in Virginia earlier this summer . . . but he claims he used in California, where he has medical marijuana clearance.

–The judge decided it was cool either way, because she’d never told him he couldn’t smoke.  But she warned him, quote, “You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do.

–”You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation.”  (–Brown was given FIVE YEARS for the assault, so he’s got just under two years of probation left to go.)
