LINDSAY LOHAN has been BANNED from one of her favorite hangouts:  The Chateau Marmont . . . because she owes them more than $46,000.

–Lindsay basically lived out of the hotel for 47 days in June and July . . . but on July 31st, they sent Lindsay a letter asking her to MOVE OUT the following day, claiming that they’d been trying to get her to settle up for WEEKS.

–They even sent her an itemized bill that included stuff like $686 for cigarettes . . .  that’s 49 packs at $14 a pack . . . and $3,145 in minibar charges.  (–Her highest single-day charge was $502.)

–But a source says Lindsay was SHOCKED when she received the bill . . . because the producers of her Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” had agreed to pay for her stay while she was working for them.

–The source says that Lindsay is trying to work things out with the producers, and if they refuse to pay, she’ll cover the bill.
