GEORGE MICHAEL was involved in a car accident early Saturday morning in England, which is his native country.

–Police say his Land Rover rear-ended a truck at about 1:00 A.M. George was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, but was released five hours later without being charged.

–Later that day, he released a statement saying he was, quote, “Neither of us was charged because we were both stone cold sober. We both think the other is to blame so this is just an insurance fight.”

ALYSSA MILANO got married Saturday, to a lucky Hollywood agent by the name of David Bugliari. The wedding was at his family’s estate in New Jersey.

Nearly 20 years ago, 38-year-old Jeremy Clayton (–who was 19 at the time) was fighting in the first Gulf War when he selected a letter at random, addressed to “Any Soldier”, which turned out to be from 32-year-old Jaime Benefit (–13 at the time).
